Compliance

The right to write, proven.

Commercial email in France is governed by the GDPR and the French Electronic Communications Code. Mailyone does not treat it as a checkbox: the rules are enforced by the software, at every send.

  1. One legal basis per subscription

Proven opt-in, declared opt-in, customer or unknown origin: for every list, each contact carries the basis on which it was subscribed, with date, origin and IP address. Contacts of unknown origin only receive re-permission campaigns.

  2. The purpose of the email decides

Soft opt-in (article L34-5 of the French code) only allows similar offers from the same brand. Mailyone enforces it: an affiliate campaign automatically excludes customers without opt-in, a brand offer excludes customers of another brand.

  3. Records, not statements

The GDPR requires you to demonstrate consent. Every request, confirmation, objection or re-permission is recorded with the exact wording shown, the date and the IP address, and can never be altered.

  4. Pixels and clicks: the CNIL April 2026 guidance

Open pixels and click attribution only apply to contacts who agreed to them. For everyone else, clicks are counted at campaign level, without any identifier. Every email carries a link to refuse tracking.

  5. Leaving in one click

One-click unsubscribe from the mailbox, a per-list preference centre, a suppression list shared by all your brands. An unsubscribe is never undone by an import, an automation or an order.

  6. Erasing for good

The right to erasure deletes the contact and its data; only a fingerprint of the address is kept to prevent re-import. Requests received by your WooCommerce shop are relayed automatically.

Mailyone enforces these rules; it does not replace legal advice suited to your situation.
